Good Neighbors

Go out today and be a good neighbor. When seeking justice, remember she is blind & wields a double-edged sword. When loving mercy, show it to all, and not just a chosen few, such as within your particular circle of like-minded individuals. When walking humbly, bear in mind your own smallness is equal in portion to that of others on the same path we all walk on this grand planet.

Theolosophy i

Theolosophy i

What is prayer
but a kind thought
the longing of one's heart
sent out
into the cosmos
active sonar
seeking passive reception
a pebble into a vast pond
concentric ring
containing hope
seeking love
acceptance
peace

With An Open Heart II

When feeling fearful, or anxious, or unknowing, it is important not to hide behind any of these feelings and call them something else.  Feel them for what they are, and stay in the present, neither looking back nor forward.  Be mindful.  Go for a walk. Stay hydrated.  Above all, do not ruminate on the feelings, move through the feelings.

no more waiting

the shoreline is washing away .  .  . and still we sit
inertia holds us back
the comfort of not thinking of what could be
 what should be
get up and shake it off
the sand
the lethargy
wash away the flotsam & jetsam
it won't work for you anymore
dive down
grab hold of the derelict
that which you thought was gone
bring it up and out into the light and air
don't hold your breath too long
it is still there
just not forever
